CD-ROM Window

hey all,

well I am back to moding my case again, have cut an "X" shape out from about my CD-ROM in my case and I got the idea that I could see the top of my CD-RW case so I was thinking of cutting a window in it to I could the CD going round, sounds cool! sorry I have no place to up load some pic's of the "X" shaped vent. any ways back to the point I think I have seen someone do a mod like this a year or two back on the page but I was un able to find it in the old postings or the pic gallery.

in short dose any know any about this or why I should or should not do this? I well be leaving the center part that holds the CD in place on the top part of the case, so no need to point that part out to me, but anything else would be a great help thanks!
