Issue with Windows 11 24H2 and TCPO

Post by Naidu »

Hello,

After upgrading to 24H2, I am running into an odd issue. I cannot access local APIs like Plex (Local Server) or the Steam Windows app. Problems get resolved when I apply TCPO and come back when I revert to Windows default. I tried to reset Winsock and TCP/IP, but that didn't help. Note: I was using TCPO optimal settings before upgrading to TCPO.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I suspect it's one of the registry changes.

Thanks

Seems like issue was caused by changing to BBR. must be a bug in 24H2.

Interesting that BBR caused this, thanks for following up.

There used to be a an issue where changing the TCP Auto-tuning algorithm from "normal" to "experimental" caused similar issues with LAN shares and Windows Servers' local network access, but in your case this is something new.
