Core 2 duo running at 50% folding

Post by Easto »

When I open Windows XP task manager it shows both cores running at 50% each while folding. Shouldn't they be 100% each?

Each at 50% is correct. You have 1x process of Folding using 1x core.

You can run 2x separate Folding instances...set them up each using a separate core of the CPU. Then..you'll see 100% used..as each would be using 50.
