Know of a Good Free Adblocker?
I have one on my other Dell PC but can't remember what it's called. I tried a few of them tonight. One didn't work, one has a popup in the lower right of the screen telling of the ads it blocked on every page, and another one wants donations.
Now I'm getting ads sent to my gmail inbox.
I'm using Google Chrome on Win 10.

Yep, exactly. I just turn it off in rare occasions for some well known sites if functionality suffers.Mark wrote:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... iagm?hl=en

all you need is any raspberry pie 3 or 4, ethernet cable and power.
Installation takes 2 hours for newbie, 30 minutes for pro.
it even blocked my lg tv ads (what is trending right now) so I put it in whitelist.
In 24 hours in blocked over 60 000 ads with medium browsing the internet is going much faster.

me too - had been using AdBlockPlus (ABP) back in the late 2000s (like 2007 thru early 2010s) and that one has not been the same ever since uBlock Origin (uBO) came out in which UBO works better, even on old or slow CPUs - so I switched to ublock for goodYeOldeStonecat wrote:Used to run the good old AdBlockPlus.
A few years ago switched to uBlock Origin...quite a bit better.
