Pit Bulls put to sleep due to ban in Denver

Post by Prey521 »

WOW! :(

This is such bs!!! Can't believe the bad name this great breed has due to irresponsible and evil owners. My brother in law has 2 full grown massive male Pit's in his house, that look as if they lift weights, and I've never hesitated to leave either of my daughters alone with them.

While I don't agree with destroying them and current owners should have been grandfathered in to own what they have after the ban...a ban done by the city is legal.

I'd love the fact that my area put a restriction on barking dogs during night hours, its up to owners to be responsible with their animals so it looks like we agree on that too.

If they are aggressive or not being adopted they dont have much choice. Out of all the pits I have been around 90% of them were aggressive around other dogs they didnt know and 90% again were probably the most hyper ill behaved dogs i have ever seen.

People like you are the reason this country sucks. The dogs are Property, we have a right to our Property. We the people give our government permission, not rights therefor they have no rights. This ban violates our rights to our property. Now if you read the one story it states that animal control came on their property(no warrant, illegal, 4th amendment), and removed their property(violation of property).

If you are not going to stand up to this kind of unconstitutional removal of rights go some place where the government can tell what to do, like China!
