I reseted modem, router and restarted the computer and go this.

I tryed the settings and ran the speed test here are the results.

Before I had the settings from ccs file for xp, not sure but seemed to be faster on the test.

Cablenut help

I have just upgraded to win xp and need some help with the settings for cablenut, my provider is Shawcable.

TCP options string = 020405b401010402
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window ...

with tekki's setting it's slower it was at it' fastest before that.

running the test only 2 times I got 527 and 651 kbps.

using the SG speed test I get somewhere in between 632 and 971 kbps.

Mccoffee,
The computer seems to be pretty good, I was reading read1st and in the settings for cablenut for win98se all the fields are filled when I run cablenut I only have about 6 settings filled. Should I use those settings? Is there any room for improvements.

Help tweaking
