I would've over-reacted too. If I'm in my own room, playing my own video games... don't ****ing touch it... it's different for a 13 year old.. he can't stay up all night playing because of school the next day... Why don't you just save a playlist?

That media library window adds a whole bunch of more resources, causing extra lag to your system.

But if you like it that way... you open the ML window, click File at top, and add whatever tracks it hasn't updated itself with... or not.

I dont know if it was the uninstallation of the hotfixes, or some dsn unflush or whatever I did from tweakxp.com -- but it doesn't play any video files now! Nor does winamp...

another thing I noticed was that if you don't have at least a gig open in your HDs then this can cause your system to lag due to *the lack of* virtual memory and physical memory.

Same thing was happening to me until I uninstalled those stupid SP2 Hotfixes that slowed my PC to a crawl. I used to click on a folder, and nothing would happen... I was beginning to think it was because I made all my icons act as links... but it wasn't that. It was those cold-fixes. :mad:
