been with them about 18 months now and was very happy getting around 10meg downloads speeds then i was offered there fibre package

it was installed yesterday and its amazing even the bt engineer was amazed at the speeds im getting

100% hands up to them and they have also got a great uk based ...

newbie question but

can i have 2 hard drives in my pc one with windows on it and the other with all my programs on it

I have had problems since xmas with speeds and though it was my supplier so i changed even had a new bt line installed but its still under 500kbps

here are the stats from my router the downstream is 7200 would this mean i should be getting those sort of speeds ??

please help its doing my head in ...

When im trying to open web pages they are taking forever unlike a week or so back they would open in seconds this page took over 1min 30 sec to open and is still ticking away at the bottom as i type

running windows 7 and using opera and firefox

time till i click submit is 2mins 48 secs and the ...

here are the stats from my router its a netgear dg834pn hard wired to my pc and connected via an onboard ethernet port

where the speed says 4800kbps is that at what speed its coming in at as my speed tests never go over 4000kbps

if the speed should be at what it is ...

i had to reload windows and now im trying to install my netgear dg834pn router (hard wired)all i can find is firmware but it only downloads as a img file

when ever i try using google on opera i click on a link and it sends me to various sites not the one i wanted

ie i could search food it would send me to a page full of ads

also every now and again i get a sound as if i have clicked something wrong the noise sounds like bumfff if that makes any ...

well after 5hrs 55mins there was now malware found and i still have the problem

im getting a pop up error everytime i go to click on anything the message says

this application has failed to start because msacvhgtjrg.dll was not found re-installing the application may fix this problem

any ideas how to sort this guys ??

Hi i have a thomson speedtouch 585 router and im trying to connect my other pc via a wireless network pci card

It picks up the router when i search but when i try and connect it just says windows is trying to connect then it goes back to the screen showing me the available routers

Any ideas guys ...

I have an xblade tower and i want to link up the front usb ports but the manual for my mother board has different letters to the cables on the tower

i have only got D+ and D- where as the the motherboard book has DY- DY+ DX+ DX- for the pins so its confusing me

my mother board is a Gigabyte GA ...

I can only use Google earth if i go into internet options, connections,Lan settings and then untick the proxy server box,but then my internet doesnt work properly

any ideas guys
