Unbind file and print sharing services, as well as client for MS. And disable netbios over IP in advanced TCP/IP properties. Are they all Win7? Unbind IP6 too.
I already had everything unchecked except for IP4. I am still noticing that the other computers on the network are trying to connect to me ...

How to block other computer on home network?
Hi guys,
I have 3 computers and a XBox 360 on my home network. On one of the computers I would like to prevent the other devices from connecting to it. I have blocked the IP addresses of the other computers and the XBox 360 in Outpost Firewall Pro. However, I keep getting a popup that the ...

If you are paying for 128/128 then your actually getting a little faster than that on your speed test. Your getting about 200/200. When you say your download speeds are 21-24kbps it is more than likely 21-24kB. Here is a great conversion chart that will show you what I mean. You are actually getting ...

Well it sounds as if you are not syncing at the proper speed. That is why your downloads are slow. You could try to contact your ISP and have tell you where to locate your sync rate or bit rate in your modem. If you are syncing at the proper speeds it should say 3000kbps/whatever your upload speed ...

You would log into your modem by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into your browser. Then look through the different areas until you find attenuation, sync rate or bit rate, and noise margin. To take a screen shot press print screen on your keyboard. Then open up the paint program, and choose edit ...

If you place your cursor over the word Broadband at the top of this page you will see broadband tools. Click SG TCP/IP Analyzer. Post the results of that page here. Also, run a speed test at http://www.speedtest.net to the closest location to you. Post the results of the speed test as well.

Hey,
Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. I think we are starting to narrow things down now. It is good to see we are producing results in the right direction. I think it would be a good idea to run another scan with HouseCall. Can you download HiJackThis and post the log here? This will help me ...

Your speed tests look very good. Your paying for 6mb and getting 5.5mb - 6mb. After talking to Philip he told me that the results of TCP Analyzer can change with each test due to auto-tuning. RWIN Scaling doesn't have to be 2^2=4. If I hear anything more about it I will let you know. If you have any ...

I have got some good new for ya. I was misinformed about the TCP Analyzer needing to report RWIN Scaling: 2 bits (2^2=4). RWIN can change with each analyzer test due to auto-tuning.
