The DSL will probably have a slightly better ping than Cable. But go with the cable anyways. You probably won't see a noticeable difference in gaming... and cable wins in the price/value comparison. When I host servers (specifically those for UDP games), my pc and the ones connected to my router cant ping it, but outside everyone else can connect to it and play. I have RP114 with cox HSI and I frequently get disconnected and I have to go through setup wizard again...or it comes back on in 5 seconds. It doesnt behave like that when its connected directly :rolleyes: Plus the DMZ servers wont work..when I got it from BestBuy there was some circuit messed up ...

Battlefield 1942 used to be choppy on my pc (Athlon 1.3, 640mb pc2100, 64mb video card). It ran MOH fine though... Seems weird, but after a long time of doing everything i could imagine, i rolled back those new nvidia drivers and it ran smooooth... :D I dont know if the driver i had was corrupted ...

I have a Netgear RP114 router w/built in firewall. When I set this server as DMZ, i cant ping UDP servers as if I connected directly. When I play UDP games I have to set it up directly
