i got one of those "enter a website" and it executes a trojan thing that messes with ur startup page making it to some website. i cant get rid of it. usually my na2002 autoprotect blocks these scripts but it didnt this time. ive tried to scan my computer but it was clean.

i use norton antivirus 2002 and some1 told me once that it hogs up lots of resouces. i was just wondering wat kind of antivirus software should i get that is good, effective, and doesnt waste too much crap.

and is there any other good utilites i can use?

i have no idea if it has to do with this issue but for NortonAntivirus i put theoption "start autoprotect on bootup" and "enable autoprotect on bootup"

i selected both

and everytime i start windows it starts autoprotect but doesnt enable it

and wen i want to go to the internet ZoneAlarm gives me this thing asking do you want to something something "207.69.188.XXX :D NS" (i put xxx cuz i dont know if this is a bad thing or good)

i did tests on dslreports.com and i got 1892/363,

i thought that was ok at first but when i looked at other people in cities close to mine they had speed 2200+/360+

only a few people had under 2000/384.


so im wonderin if its my computer ...

wat testing service did you use?

any suggestions what i should custom input in the TCP/IP optimizer?

i got it to work some how. now it comes with a installation cd wizard. its so easy. dont even have to punch in anything. does it auto. thnx guyz
