getting wireless pcmcia card to work

Please help

I have a cisco 350 aironet wireless card and cant get it to connect to my linksys access piont. Im using the Aironet client utility and its saying 'your 350 series is not associated'

Does anyone know what i need to do?

How do you set the WAN port up? Do you give it a static IP or do you set it to recieve a ip from the first router through DHCP?

If I use a straight thro cable from the lan port of my first router to the wan port of the second router I dont get a link light on the second router but if I use a cross over cable I do?

I dont know how to get a connection to the internet thro the second router tho?

I found another way too. Open the run dialog box and type Conf.exe. It starts the netmeeting setup wizard.

I dont use it very often (netmeeting) so Ill have to wait till I use it again to see if it works. What you have said makes sense so will play around with it the next time I have to use it.

Ok i have mapped port 1720 on the router to my PC's IP. Now about opening those other ports? How do I go about doing that?

Yes, I have subnet as 255.255.255.0

I have a dlink router di-704. Do you need to mapp those ports on the router or on the PC?

Hi

Ok I have static IPs and then my router as the gateway, my isp dns servers as the primary and secondary dns server. Is that correct. Now How do I go about mapping those ports needed?

OK mate

I can get all the settings if i log into the router and get it from its info page, what do i have to do with these settings. All I should really need to do on the linux box is configure the browser right. I have linux configured to boot off the dhcp server in the router already.
