you can buy
a head phone splitter from like radio shack. you can plug in two speaker plugs into the splitter and use one jack on the card. This will work for stereo effect but will not give you 5.1 surround sound.

ole db and odbc is a sql command function. maybe a query is not found. a query is sorta like when sql looks for a field say like look for all names that end with z or something similar.but it would probally take more looking into than just that error message to debug.

oh yeah
just install a protocal nw link on both computers and share the printer and there you go instant network with shared printer. share files to be seen on the network.

yes ipx spx is for novell but not exclusively

This may sound off the wall but...
try network (right click) properties
on the menu install
then protocols
then install nwlink to both of the computers.
you must do this at each computer.
the isnt the normal way to do it but it works for me although i learned the tcp/ip way.
nw link requires no configuration.

not very complicated at all
i believe the switch thingy will work if you find out if you get 2 ip's. just connect the 2 computers to the switch thingy in the normal ports and depending on your switch(which are all foreign to me) you need to either connect the cable modem to the uplink of the switch or like my old linksys hub ...

do you know i/o addresses for com ports and basic repair and troubleshooting for all kinds of printers including laser inkjet and dot matrix . its not very hard but the price went up. it cost me 132 per test and now it is somewhere around 140 or mor per test.
