I ask this because my main computer has a lan ip of 192.168.0.3 and I thought MAIN computers have to have the first lan ...

ISB SOHO is screwing up !!!
I asked for a router and everyone suggested me to buy the ISB SOHO, so I did. It works fine but for some reason, at least once a week, my router stops all internet traffic. The only way I can fix this is to restart the router. Looks like to me that the router gets flooded or something similar. I ...

ISB SOHO--How to port Forward?
The "Special Applications" screen (port forwarding screen) is so difficult to configure with this router. I have an application called Blubster and it says that I must open ports 41170 to 41350... where do I put these? I dont know if I have to put them in the Incoming or Outgoing protocols or if I ...

Thanks for the suggestions guys but to be honest, I'm not looking for a router that is easy to install, I'm looking for a router that will have less latency, is fast and will handle traffic without a problem.
So, go for the RP614 or the RT314? BTW, do any of these routers have an uplink port so I ...

Very quick and simple question
I want to give the RWIN CALCULATOR a try but I'm just a bit confused.
In the Bandwidth tab, does it want the bandwidth in Kilobits or kilobytes?
And finally,
In the Latency tab, how the heck do I find that out ?
P.S. My caps are 2000/384
Thanks for any help guys.

For Lobo (NIC question)
Simples question Lobo,
I was wondering, I know that you have LNE100TX NIC v5.1 and I was curious if you are using the default drivers that Win XP installs for it (which I think are v4) or do you install the v5.1 win 2000 drivers for it ?

Lobo, I know your smart and everything, but I honestly think that is not the problem. It has something to do with my cable configurations. Rwin, MaxConnections, etc. I am not using the Optimizer since you get limited tweaking with it, but dont get me wrong, GREAT utility for begginners.
Please Lobo ...
