Yeah. network interface controller and meant to put 1000Mbps, 300 is modem/router max wifi 1000 wired. The only files I transfer on my local network are from Tivo to Tivo wireless, computer is only one wired directly.

My controller is 10/100 DSL modem does 300 would I notice difference if I got a 1000 controller? I'm not having any problems just wonder if would notice any difference kinda doubt it.

Is this an updated version of the new one they put out in March/April or is that the one you are talking about. A lot of problems with the one from the spring, I still use 1.75 because of that. Be nice if they finally fixed those issues with a newer update.

Bitdefender last update was 4/2, 1:09PM, version 1.0.21.1099 did repair (just in case) stayed the same, has been updating several times a day. Is this current or do I have a problem?/ EDIT: Finally updated today at 7:08PM.

When you do put 2 OS's on 1 drive you only need a partition big enough for the OS you are adding (with some extra for updates) and the 2 will share rest correct? If they do share would you also have reduce the original OS down too?

At start of Zorin the list of boot choices one has something about XP, but even if I were to choose it and it was to boot that drive I have to have it's port turned off to see it.

Just looked even though on board are labeled sata 1 and 2 in DRIVES see both one under sata 0 other under sata 1 both turned on. Went into DRIVES the sata 2 port was turned off (the one it's plugged into), I turned it on thought would fix it still doesn't show up in boot menu. Maybe the sata cable is bad will swap them later to see.

Meanwhile, just get an additional sata cable and lay the second drive on bottom of case or stand it up/hang...no worries.

After a little research I guess I need another sata cable (ordered) closest I could find was MB labeled 0 and 1. The install of Zorin on blank was easy and quick, but even if I had sata cable could not put both in at once till brackets for hard drive get here.

Sure. You can even have them on the same drive, but it's easiest if they're on separate partitions.

The catch is, the system only boots from one drive/partition, so it would have to utilize a boot manager to show you an option which OS to boot. There are a number of tutorials about dual-booting ...
