I am taking both of your advice, I have cleaned up the line coming in and am running the modem immediately off a new 2 into 1 splitter, with the other side going into the amp to drive the TV's.

My final modem readings are: downstream: 47dBmV and upstream: 5dBmV.

I guess if I have any issues in ...
