Update: It seems to be solved. On the MagicJack site they have a 7mb update. After installing it (not sure what it does), the thing suddenly requested net access and started working. So far, so good. Can't figure out why it would work on other computers without the update, but not this one. Thanks ...

I haven't tried all of them, but I've tried the slot that's normally used by the mouse, and I know that all of them work with flash drives.

OK, I have now tried it on another PC with the Kerio firewall and it works fine. I've always thought the USB transfers on this one were a little slow... Maybe there's something about the USBs.

Yes, it shows up as Mass Storage Device Drives (H, G) and also as H & G in Win Explorer.
Kerio Personal Firewall 4. But I've tried it with the Firewall off.

Unable to access internet for VOIP (MagicJack)

For anyone not familiar with magicjack, it's a USB device that connects to any standard phone plug and gives unlimited service to most of North America for $20/yr.

I've tried installing it (just plug into the USB & wait for it to connect for the signup process) but immediately there's a message ...
