I have exported a registry using regedit but when I try to import it I get a error message that the reg files can't be restored due to open registrys in use...

So is there a way I can do this outside of windows xp like using the C:\ command prompt???

Okay I all of the sudden have about 1/4 of my desktop missing off the screen >>> And replacing that 1/4 of the screen is a white box stretching from top to bottom with these headings

I have followed that and he gives the values in Section 13 of his tweaking guide which I have entered into my cablenut >>> which differ from the ones you gave me...

fdisking my entire hard-drive so I get rid of the crap they call WIN ME and either put WIN 98 back on or wait for WIN XP... Which OS should I get in your opinion???
