Download speed Drops after disabling some services

Hi! I recently got a speedtest of 1.5mbps-1.61mbps and a ping of 10ms~20ms before the tweak was done. After tweaking some and disabling some services in services.msc seems to be that my speed drops from 1.6mbps to 300kbps~1mbps and ping goes crazy like 30ms~90ms. The thing is that i don't remember ...

don't have modem. It's a Motorola Canopy Antenna :)

Oh btw I used cable nuts. Is this Ok?

How to read tracert :

Hop 1 : shows signals between modem & PC, It should be 1ms 1ms 1ms ! Higher or occur * or Request timed out => not good !

Hop 2: [/u] shows signals between modem & ISP It should range from 10 to 40 ms ! Higher or occur * or Request timed out => not good !

i saw av-comparatives reviews that symantec internet security is better than NOD32 in terms of virus detection, removal and system performance. Seems to be a good one.

tried the avira. i would say it make my internet so slow. also shows false speedtest when avira is enable. going to try Nod32. Uhmm, what about symantec? is it good?

1.Sorry but I don't have modem. I'm using a wireless connection w/ Canopy SM. Don't know now but seems that i can't even access by now my Canopy SM settings. Seems that the Base station here is upgrading. Not sure yet. That's why maybe i got a * in hop 1.
