Whats the Best CD Burners....

My Yamaha 8x4x24 is screwy on me.. so i sent it in for coz its still under warrenty...

but these are my choices..

1) Plextor 16x10x32
2) Teac 16x10x32
3) LG 12x8x32 IDE CDRW (8MB buffer)
4) Maybe Yamaha 16x10x32
5) Creative 12x10x32x CDRW

mine are the VR Glasses.... at first when i played UT.. was KICK ASS!!!! then got bored.... sigh... i need new technology.. haha..

ive got the Asus GeForce 256 DDR 32mb Deluxe with 3D Glasses... and are nice.. but after awhile... i got tired and my eyes were sore.. so i just didnt used them...

nice to the first month or two.. after awhile... not as fun!!

hi just bought a DVD rom...

it sometimes makes loud noise... and they said it was a 16X Pioneer or Panasonic....

but there is no name on the front tray... and when i went to
My Computer>Properties>Device Manager>CDRoms
its reads as Mat****a DVD-Rom SR-8587

wundering there is any software that can ...

when installing the file system.. which should i chose.. NTFS or FAT32?

what would be the benifit of have NTFS rather then FAT32...

would the be any conflict of having NTFS, ie program problems or driver problems?

ok.. i have to jumpers on my mobo... but when i changed it.. it didnt work... i set it to 800mhz...

does any know the calculation oh how to get the freq ratio.... it involves cpu speed, FSB to get the ratio or somthing like that...

another quesiton...

i have win2k pro and win98se dual boot...

would there be any conflicks of haveing them both on the same partition.. or should i put them on separate partition...

should i install the SP1 or SP2 or just leave it as is....

would i see any over speed performance? internet performance? or is this just another way microsoft can peep into your computer and/or monitor your every movement?

im pissed... i cant seem to get my favorites back in...

in win9X all you have to do is copy those urls from
c:\windows\favorites

then back into the same place... but win2k doesnt seems to pick these damn files up... i also tried
c:\winnt\favorites
just making a new folder called favorites coz ...

i have a SOHO 10/100 ethernet card... and in the properties... i can set the speed to 100 full duplex.. is this good? the options are:

100 full duplex
100 half duplex
10 full duplex
10 half duplex
auto speed detect

would this effect my up/downloads or should i just leave it at auto speed ...

not really... it actually seems slower... b4 i changed the 3 settings to 524176 i can download the SP1 off microsoft at 350kps+
now it was going at 240kpbs or less...

will try 522680 then 513920

my previous post had too many so i started a new one..

i got cablenut 4.0 and updated it to 4.02
i got it from microsystems and the reg patches from here...

and what is it that i needed to change.. was little confused...

and to what settings i need to set it at..

and i got windows 2000 Pro.... what other patches do i need? i also got cablenut 4.02..
how would i make the chanhes? should i used the "cable_fast_2k.ccs" and make changes and save to registry?

it all depends on the extention of the file...

if there is 2 files - .bin and .cue
CDR-WIN is what i use...

nero has its own extention....

clone uses .ccd

hope this works...
i download 4 iso games and burnt them seccessfully...
