Does anyone know if this kinda software exists?
What i need is a program that will pick up a file from a designated local drive then put the file in a diffrent computer atleast 4 times aday with no intervention from me, and using something alittle more reliable then one of my dodgy scripts ...

Hi All,
When my computer starts up it has two option:
XP Pro
or
XP Home
and it gives me 24 seconds before it defaults to XP Pro... is there any way i can set it to defualt automatically to XP Pro? or reduce the time it takes to make that decision?

This computer has only just started doing this weird thing. It seems i can not open any m,oe then 2 programs at a time.

We have a few linux serves, mostly running business critical stuff, financials, DNS etc unfortunatly linux isn't practical for desktops since EVERYONE knows/feels warm and fuzzy with a windoze desktop.

yeah we have invoices for all purchases, it just worries me that Microsoft can waive a piece of paper stating we have purchased 2 or 3, but not the other dozen.....piss me off reallly, we are such a small company with 1 IT guy.

I currently have Pervasive.SQL runing on our fileserver for our payroll program.
Another department want a special program that only runs of Microsoft Server SQL 7.0.
I was wondering can you have two SQL databases/servers running concurrently on the 1 server?

The computer at work today has thrown me for a six, i have no idea hope you can help.
It's a windows 98 (not 2nd add) the default gateway is defaulting to the IP address. It's a statically set to 192.168.1.1. So when i ipconfig /all i see
ip 192.168.1.1
Sub 255.255.255.0
gw 192.168.1.1

i have a problem, in win2k, i've removed the internet using add/remove programs becuase poeple love to play.
Problem though, they can still use the internet via search > on the internet

Our work has just added another site (subnet) to our network so i want to know your thoughts about how the new site should log in.
Should i creat a new PDC and then have it trusted both ways on the Main network?

I'm running Outlook standalone, not on an exchange server.
What can i do about a corrupted PST file?
it won't let me get into it to run the Indox Repair Wizard
I tried to export it to outlook express but it says it can't import from a MAPI client (WTF???)

I have some trouble with Outlook 2k, when i hit reply, the e-mail disappears from the inbox. I can go into sent items and there there, but not in the inbox....WHY?????
Other problem,
I can't get the calander to sync on Outlook 2k to Outlook XP, there doesn't seem to be the share functionality ...
