i only have 1 peice of downloaded software called free download manager on my pc. anyone know if it isn't safe?
you got more problems than you seem to let on in the first post.. best to make sure your computer is clean of junk first then look outside the box.

i forgot to mention they are SYN Flood attacks. the attacks occur usually when i'm just navigating ...

i've been having this problems for the last couple of months. i've noticed that certain websites would load slow every time i would visit them for the first time in the browser. every time this happens i get a new DOS log in my router.

any ideas how to fix this?

i have a pc that has slower download speeds than my other pc, the upload speeds are the same though. the slower pc has vista service pack 1 and the faster pc has vista without sp1, would this make a difference?
