Monitor traffic on network from each IP

We recently started having an issue with high utilization at certain times of day. We have remote users that come in from time to time and I suspect someone is doing things they shouldn't be. Up to this point we have only used bandwidth monitor tools that show graphs of usage by the hour, day and ...

Can't seem to get one of our switches working. We moved out IT closet and bought a new cabinet but did not move all the cabling. So we have 2 available data jacks in the office so we plug a cable into the wall then to the switch. None of the ports we've used light up. Gigabit port doesn't light up ...

We've been using a managed VPN services with Verizon on our network and it provides a portal to create users and manage permissions for them. I'm thinking I'd rather host it internally as we plan to move away from Verizon as an MPLS provider.

I know Server 2008 has a VPN role but was wondering if ...

I realize that Netbios is basically old technology so I'm wondering at what point can I, or should I phase it out. My concern is we still have a majority of Windows XP systems in our network and probably will for some time. If my understanding is correct I should keep Netbios in play.

Our network ...
