No matter what is transmitted it is in the 0-750mhz band . The part of the mhz range the data uses could be a channel . But, It is not . Actually it's inter office politics . Th big phone companys give certain people kickbacks for keeping their big expensive line when there are way cheaper alternatives .

Actually the 6th hop that i censored . I realized is actually the ip of the proxy as detected by a couple of different proxy detectors. So it still goes through the proxy no matter what.

Not true . It messes with everything . If i do a tracert on my computer i can't even see my ip . I could see my ip even being on aol , and i surely could before . It messes up all security based things , my norton updates , and som websites . So don't tell me it's no different . I work with networks ...

The crappy thing is this is a proxy you can't disable . It intercepts all traffic there is no avoiding it . It's a network based proxy . So you see you're never secure .

Besides the obvious trouble the proxys have caused how could your information be secure if you aren't establishing a connection directly between you and the end server . How can the end server make sure it keeps the connection with you and not just the proxy . Not to mention if it caches web pages ...

I believe that i've figured out my weird results . My ip isn't on the traceroute at all that's comcasts new proxy . That D@mn proxy has screwed all the sites that detect my ip for identity , and i cannot renew my virus definitions .

Wow , My tracert looks really odd . It seems like for one i have extra hops and for two all the ping times are basically the same . Plus the lost hops . Well all this plus more probably equals why i have to reload the pages so much and why my connection has weird latencies at times whil gaming .

All users of @home who had way faster speeds before the transition to comcast and the mondo low caps should unite and sue . It's written on the box for my comcast@home install kit up to 50 times faster that 56k . Well at 1.5 cap it'll never be 50 times faster not to mention all the time with @home ...

My average ping is 10ms , but i get a 100% loss on hops 2 through 5 (traceroute) . The ip before hop 2 is 1*.*2.1*2.1 hop 6 is 6*.*0.*.50 . My signal to noise ratio is 38 dB . I PM'd you the specific ip's .
