As in my previous post i have just installed XP and its running great.

Only thing that i have a slight issue is with CS.

When i play CS it seems to use some sort of mouse acceleration which makes it a little hard to get used to. I have disabled it on the control panel which works on the desktop ...

Well after buying the upgrade CD (money was a bit tight this month) i formatted the HDD and tried to install. And to my disbelief the upgrade CD will not run from DOS!

I had to install 98 and then choose fresh install which actaully wipes 98 back off again! weird ...

I did exactly the same as you mate, format C: then use the boot disk, e:\setup as with 98 or ME.

This app will not run in dos!, i had to install a copy of 98 and then select "clean new install" from the CD prompt.

This will actually wipe off 98 and all the other files.

Shame it wasn't a bit ...

The best way to tweak Q3 is to adjust some of the conig settings. Stuff like the bob pitch (when u run, u go up and down) etc.
Example=
seta cg_runpitch "0.000"
seta cg_runroll "0.000"
seta cg_bobup "0.000"
seta cg_bobpitch "0.000"
seta cg_bobroll "0.000"
if you set all these to 0 like above plus ...
