thanx down hill , hey 64 . so you see the avatar , thanx again . i think i will just have a custom pc built i want to leave room for internet 2 if it hits small towns soon enough .

i am looking to upgrade to a new pc or mac . either way this pc is still pretty new, the gateway gt5032 , best buys attempt to sell a gamming tower . i know dont buy factory pc unless you know you could modify it to your needs . but i did this because i plan to let my mother have this one to replace ...

i have v.5 and i use a p2p ( ares ) and im on wi fi

i have that same problem wrt54g . but i used the optimizer and it got better . i think it may be the isp because ive tried evry setting and knob . the optimizer helps . calll your isp and ask them to check out your status . my isp usually finds something wrong . too bad they dont run cable out here ...

you mean like bandwidth limit? i know some isp's have it. this only seemed to have happened after the optimizer was installed. ideas? ive racked my brain .

ahh cool i just notice i could change the color of the sg site , man you guys have it all . the dark sg fits my current theme of my pc . how slick is that !!

i have the same stuff happening to me but i notice it with ares p2p program . ad will start and then it just slows down and stops . when i look at my little pc's by the time clock it shows them to flash . but regular internet browsing doesnt suffer . i even configured my router (wrt54g ) to port ...

hey fish , go to the top of this page , mouse over broad band tools and select tcp anylizer, and wammo there you have your results
