I tried the optimizer and it worked great for a while, but the next day it just went back to being the same old stuff.

Okay, it just happened again and I was able to get what ping looked like from my computer when this happens:

My WRT54G has been working perfectly for the last 6 months, but two week ago it decided it wanted to start acting up.
