well.
Hi.
That IS exactly what I did, a restore from within the TCP program. Then I uninstalled the thing since it only made things worse.

nightmare...
Hi.
I used the program and after rebooting couldn't connect to some sites.
Only about 1/3 of my speed tests even worked at all. Most would lock up my browser (IE).
Restored my backup from the software, uninstalled, rebooted, and now everything is fine.
Be careful

Hi.
That is just the kind of answer I was looking for. I was worried it would be over my head.
Thanks for the information.

General Router question...
Hi.
I have a general question about how routers work.
I have three TIVO's connected to my router, as well as two XBOXes and a wireless notebook PC.
If I am using the router to transfer information from one TIVO to another, for example, does the information travel from the one TIVO to the router ...

more testing...
Hi again.
I did some testing.
I kept the NIM100 connected, but then disconnected all 3 STBs. No errors.
I then reconnected the first STB and was getting one error with an IP ending in .82.
I then reconnected the second STB and was getting two errors. The first with .82 and now the 2nd adds .146 ...

Hi.
Someone suggested that I disconnect my devices one at a time to see if any specific one was causing the error message.
I started with the new Motorola NIM100 and rebooted the router. I had NO error messages. I then reconnected the router and didn't even reboot and the error messages started ...

FIOS TV MAC address help
Hi.
I just got FIOS TV and I need a tiny bit of help.
I'm trying to use MAC filtering for enhanced security.
The bottom of my Motoroloa NIM100 (Network Interface Module - needed for my FIOS TV service Set Top Boxes) has a HFC MAC ID that ends in 87 and also says cLINK MAC ID and ends in 88. Does ...

Strange errors in D-Link DI-634M router log
Hi.
I have a D-Link DI-634M router.
While in my log today I noticed tons of errors, but everything is working perfectly.
I'm getting this every 3 to 7 seconds from 3 different IP addresses:
Dropped packet from 169.254.1.82 to 169.254.1.255 that was received from the wrong network interface (IP ...
