I have the same problem, last sunday i was doing some heavy surfing, dowloading from ftps, uploading to others, and I am a Fserver as well, i got disconnected 8 times, I call Bellsouth, they said i was getting a timeout connection, cause i had too much traffic, and the only way to get on again was ...

Is there any software i could use to make my dynamic ip address fake a static ip? some ftp servers restrict their logins by ip, I need to find a way to have my ip static, and my ISP doesn't offer that.

I have DSL from Bellsouth the ip renews every 8 hours, sometimes it doesn't reconnect again. What kind of software would I need to have my computer autpmatically reconect?
