I checked each mem stick seperately. They check OK. I cant even get the pc to boot if I put both sticks in. Not even to Bios.
But I could put a signle stick in any of the 4 mem slots it will boot.

Had my build running for 2-3 yrs now. See sig+(Win 7)
Just lately last 4 mths its been going BSOD.

Was running Comcast with and had my own Belkin N giga Router.
Uverse supplies their own Wireless router. Its G and only 10/100 vs 10/100/1000.

update.....Brought PC into living room and did frsh install with lan line hardwired to router.
Install all programs as needed. Itunes etc....

Did a google search. Installed a fresh copy of win 7 professional on a 74 gig Raptor drive I had laying around. Only me as admin.

Just a update. I ended up buying the Itel 320 series 320 gig.
I did struggle with a few issues not actaully with the SSD drive buy my setup.
My Raptor 300 gig drive was split up into 2 particians. 80gig(which was just about full) and what was left 200gig usable.

well depends on the SSD, some are better than others. I've avoided them for a while now till they settled down on quality and seems that's picking up well. I believe once you open the drive the warranty is void. Usually there is one torx under the stick. Makes it prety obvious that you opened the drive.

I had a drive fail at work. WD40gig from the famous failing Dell GX 270 machines. Pwr supply FAN failed overnight. Computer was super hot.

I noticed if the computer shutsdown via a error or I reboot without a proper shutdown and IE8 is open it loses all the passwords and users for all forums.

Finally built the new home server.(my old rig) Have win server up and running.

Can I export the IIs files over to the new server. The configuration of all the web pages and directories. I could do manually 2-3 hours of work.

Well I picked up the velocity raptor. Up and running with Win 7. Been beta testing it with MS so running the RC. Will see how it runs. Took about 20 mins after assm of the PC. to desktop. Seem to be running great.
Will not load too much since win 7 retail is in about 2 weeks.

I just picked up the Velociraptor. I have get this pc back up and running. I have a benchmark of the old setup. Raid 0 with the 74 gig raptors. I will benchmark this setup when up and running smothly. It will be a long night

Thanks for the reply. Data is now lost. I did full formats on these drive to try and make them work. I backed up all the data on a spare drive when I was planning on the new system.

I see your point. But

thye will work just fine when I install them in the other PC. It has 2 different raid contollers(on board). Both controllers will create, define, etc. and I can start to load windows.

Delete the array. Install onto new MB and nogo.....arghh!!!!

Just picked up this MB and a AMD Phenon 965 with 4 gigs of ram.

I had a pair of WD Raptor 75 gigs in Raid 0 in my former PC(soltek with promise raid). Removed them and monted in this PC. Set Bios to Raid.
Upon boot up I get to the Raid display.

It displays Raid 0 148 gig functional then just sits ...

Arghh...I only installed web edition for server 2003. Media services are for standard and higher.

Should be rebuilding my pc soon and my current main rig will be the new server so may reinstall server 2003 as standard instead of web edition.
