im currently looking at the Pioneer (DVR-107DSW) and the Plextor (PX-708A)..

Im not to concerned about the price.

i sort of gave up trying to play those certain games about a month ago since i couldn't access them
and for some unknown reason
the problem that has been bugging me for almost a year has stopped

nvidia 32mg TNT2 M64 graphics card
12x mat****a CDR
32x4x4 Panasonic CDRW
a very crap sound card

i know as a fact that it is not CPU at fault as i had changed it with a pentIII 550 and i got the same problems

look dont mean do be a **** but hell 100mhz, no matter what i get its still not fast enough, i have a 900amd o/c to 1080 and its fast but you knwo we always wabt faster. but hey what you got should do the job maybe some more ram though.

my friend went out and spent alot of money on 1.5 gig RAM, alot compared to my 128mb, anyways
he wants to know how to create a RAMdrive like or just store things permanently on his RAM
and run it through windows (not the RAMdrive u get when using a boot disk to boot up!)
