Hey I just installed NOD32 and I'm freakin lost with this thing. right now the AMON is scanning everything and it's finding massive amounts of infiltrations. Anyways is there a "recommended settings" threads or can someone walk me through a setup of this monster? Thanks

i installed all the kaspersky files again with all the default setting and i haven't had a reboot for about 30 minutes now. it is in the process of doing it's initial scan... updates later

yeh... everything is good, but when i install KAV and make the changes suggested...everything goes retarded. i removed all traces of KAV and am now downloading a new trial version andi will install with all default settings. I just that if it works it doesn't bother me that much. I'm hoping it ...

the scanners found nothing but like 7 MRU files that didn't pose any threat. i removed them anyways. I'm gonna do the online scan and let you know...

well things have gone 180 on me...lol after scanning and installing and even updating the Java to the lastest version, everything was golden. then... install kaspersky, make recommended configuration changes, prompt for restart..... restart and BAM the computer shuts off after about 2 minutes of ...

ok here's where we stand. I uninstalled the nortons using the add/remove then i went back and did it with the norton remove tool. here's the lastest scan... where do we go from here?

i think i confused you.. i uninstalled nortons with the nortons removal tool, THEN installed the kaspersky and configured it according to the link i saw. Once i did that the problems arised. after that i took the KAV out and reinstalled the nortons. THEN i ran the hijack scan and posted it here. so ...

i have roadrunner cable, XP media edition, i'm not sure what they claim in terms of speeds, but when i did the speakeasy test i averaged between 4600 and 4800 kb/s down and between 350 and 400 kb/s up.
