Had my Linksys N equipment for total of eight days. Connection and speed were no problem but the range was TERRIBLE!
Went back to my WRT54GX4 router and SRX400 card. Speed just as good, and range about twice as good.

Linksys Wireless Utility
Hey guys been awhile since I have posted. Just upgraded my wireless equipment. Went with the MIMO LInksys Router and matching card. The range and speed are excellent, blows the regular Router G and card away!

XP to 98 network printing
Hello,
Attempting to network a Win XP client laptop to a machine running Win98SE. All works great except for the printer. XP sees the printer but will not load it advising "server has wrong driver". I have dealt with this in past, but can`t remember how to fix this.
Little help please.

HP All-in-one software and XP Pro
Anybody have trouble with HP all-in-one software glitching out with Windows XP Pro? My 2110 "scan button" will not work after a period of time and I have to reinstall the software. Unit will scan if I go into the HP Director. Everything else works great.

Hello all,

Anyway, I just noticed the add/remove program list on two of my XP Pro machines are divided in half with a huge blank area in between. Both machines are using Western Digital 7200 rpm drives with no extra ...

Hey guys,
Totally stumped here. Noticed last night 12/19 that after going to GRC and Sygate my port 113 is showing "closed" instead of stealth like all the others.
Have tried everything I know to try, even connected one machine at a time (three running XP Pro) and still no luck. I am behind a ...

Linksys wpc11 and Toshiba satellite
Running W2K Pro on an older Toshiba Satellite. Keep getting system hangs using WPC11 V3 card. Linksys and Toshiba both admit to problem with BIOS and card compatibility. Have latest drivers and BIOS update.

Nero 5.5
Loaded Nero 5.5.9 for a friend. His burner is a 16X Mitsumi. The program shows a max writing speed of 8X and nowhere to change it.
All works fine, just won`t show max speed, any ideas?
Not sure what MOBO he has, but I do know it is a 1.1gig athlon with 512M Ram and XP Pro.

Going wireless for the first time. Going to run a Linksys access point off my router. Any special security settings I need to know?
Speaking of Linksys, Office Depot is discontinuing the Linksys line of products. Watch for good buys.
