Turned off DHCP and it's so muuuccchhh faster!
Hi guys,
I used to have a simple DSL modem, it broke and I bought an Aztech DSL600ER. I felt the speed was slower compared to my old modem, but when I turned off the DHCP. The speed was exactly (or maybe faster) as my old modem.
What is this DHCP? Why is it slowing down my speed?

Linksys WRT54G + Azureus = No more surfing possible?
Hi there!
I recently purchased a Linksys WRT54G Router to connect several PCs to the internet.
My connection is specified as follows: 3Mb/s down and 512kb/s up.
I'm using dd-wrt.v22-final-r2 firmware (which did not seem to improve things).
Ever since buying this product I'm experiencing problems ...

DSL Modem vs. Cable Modem
I am currently a DSL subscriber and will be moving to an area that may not have coverage. Will I be able to use the DSL modem for high speed cable or are these two modems completely different? Thanks.

Can you bind 2 network cards to split downloads of a single file?
Basically my question is stated in the subject. I'm wondering whether you can "shotgun" two NICs on a Win2k Pro machine using some sort of trick of the "route" command or anything? I am attempting to double my speed on DSL, because the one modem serves 4 seperate IPs in my house, all able to ...

Shaw is doing some changes, for instance you will notice that @home.com e-mail addresses are no longer available, you must choose one of the other options.
