My friend is trying to get a bigger HDD and she called DELL and they told her she could only get up to a 30GB HDD. They tried to rip her off and wanted to charge her $100 for a 20 GB!!!

Anyway is there a way around this 30GB limit? I would like her to get an 80GB since it is the best value ...

I got it from Comcast and Ive heard horror stories but everything went very smooth. I did a speed test and got 2.7mbps down and 225kbps up. Not bad at all. Now I just have to see how it gets on busy hours and check my pingxors!

Graphics are not everything in a game. I will take Half-Life and Counter-Strike over 99% of the FPS games out there right now. It is all about gameplay.

No I was initially using KDE. Someone recommended I should try blackbox or windowmaker. I did and it hasnt made any difference so far. Both desktops crawl. Its like I am running out of RAM or something, or the HD too slow.

You need at least PC100 SDRAM. If you want to overclock in the future then get PC133.

I gateway pings at 80ms but my pings usually suck 95% of the times greates than 180 or so.

yes, there is PC133 SDRAM to run at 133MHz. This is the way to go because it is only a few bucks more than PC100 which is becoming outdated with new processors.
