Amped Wireless RE2200T

details: HELIOS-EX AC2200 High Power Tri-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender
hardware type: Wireless Range Extender
date added: 2017-07-28
updated: 2017-07-30
The HELIOS-EX is a tri-band range extender, specially designed for multi-device households. Built with a Quad-Core ARM Processor, 12 high power amplifiers, and 4 total high gain antennas, the HELIOS-EX delivers up to 12,000 square feet of additional Wi-Fi coverage.

DirectLink technology creates a dedicated 5GHz link to the home network, freeing up the remaining two bands, resulting in up to 2X the speed of other extenders.

The HELIOS-EX also features MU-MIMO technology that enables multiple devices to receive data at once, granting uninterrupted streaming for all.

Move faster than ever with Wi-Fi speeds of up to 2.13Gbps, that's 399Mbps on the 2.4GHz frequency and 2 x 866Mbps on the 5GHz.

Add up to eight additional wireless networks for other rooms or offices. Each network can be customized with unique passwords and bandwidth restrictions for guests.

The Signal Strength LED gives you instant feedback on the connection between the Range Extender and your Home Network. Green, yellow and red lights atop the device convey whether the Extender is in the optimal, moderately optimal or poor installation location.

Includes USB 3.0 that is designed for attaching a USB storage device, such as an external hard drive or flash drive, to share at home or in the office with other networked computers. Shared files can also be access remotely, over the Internet using a FTP client.
