TP-Link announced today new mesh routers of its Deco family. The Deco range includes three products - the Deco X90, the Deco X60 and the Deco X20 - all of which are compatible with the faster and more efficient WiFi 6 standard. The fastest among them is the TP-Link Deco X90, a tri-band mesh router with speeds of up to 574 megabits per second on the 2.4GHz band, 1,201Mbps on the 5GHz band and 4,804Mbps on a second 5GHz band that the system uses for a dedicated backhaul connection between the main router and the satellite devices, which you'll scatter about your home to spread a speedy Wi-Fi signal from room to room. The Deco X60 is an option for those who don't need quite such lightning fast networking, with a theoretical throughput of 3000 Mbps, with 547 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 2402 Mbps on 5GHz. The two units work together to cover 5000 square feet and connect up to 150 devices to the Internet. The "budget-friendly" Deco X20 is the slowest of the bunch with just dual-band support. It is a AX1800 solution (574Mbps @ 2.4GHz + 1201Mbps @ 5GHz). Deco X90 (2-pack) has an MSRP of $449.99 and is expected to be available in April 2020. Deco X60 (2-pack) has an MSRP of $269.99 and is expected to be available in March 2020. Deco X20 (2-pack) has an MSRP of $189.99 and Deco X20 (3-pack) has an MSRP of $269.99. Both are expected to be available in March 2020. Read more -here-
