TP-Link today announced at the 2015 International CES the Archer C9 AC1900 dual band gigabit wireless router and the RE210 and RE450 miniature wireless AC range extenders.

The Archer C9 offers overall connectivity speeds of up to 1.9Gbps and employs a 1GHz dual-core processor, dual band antennas and high-powered amplifiers to improve Internet connectivity throughout the home for a seamless online gaming and Ultra HD 4K video streaming consumer experience.

Archer C9The Archer C9's Quality of Service (QoS) engine prioritizes traffic to reduce lag when multiple connected devices are active on its network, and its integrated shield cover reduces external interference to further improve performance. These features deliver greater bandwidth speeds, increased reliability and enhanced wireless quality across the router's network.

The Archer C9 employs beamforming technology to locate connected devices and target its signal in their direction for more stable wireless connectivity. The router's three dual band antennas and high-powered signal amplifiers ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal throughout the home. For wired connections, gigabit WAN/LAN ports enable data transfer speeds of up to 1000Mbps, and dual USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports allow for sharing of local printers, files and media with devices connected to the Archer C9's network.

The new range extenders can work with any standard Wi-Fi router, extending area coverage and improving the wireless performance of an existing wireless network in a home or office. Smart Signal Indicator LEDs indicate the strength of the signal received from the router, helping users easily find the ideal placement for the extenders to ensure optimal performance. The extenders can reach wireless speeds of up to 1,750Mps and are also backwards-compatible, allowing them to work with older wireless protocols such as 802.11 b/g/n.

RE210RE450Dual band technology enables users to keep low-bandwidth tasks like sending email and web browsing on a different channel than more intensive ones such as online gaming or streaming HD video, ensuring faster, smoother overall network performance. Additionally, a built-in gigabit Ethernet port creates a reliable connection to wired devices, including TVs, set-top boxes, game consoles and Blu-ray players. At the same time, the range extender can share the existing wireless network with mobile devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets.

The main difference between the two extenders is the maximum wireless speed that they support - the RE210 provides 750Mbps, while RE450 provides 1,750Mbps.

The RE210 is planned for availability in Q2, and the RE450 Range Extender is planned for availability in Q3, 2015. The Archer C9 dual band gigabit router has a suggested retail price of $169.99 US and is available now.

when direct connect to the router by cable is 1 G Mbps.
But through WiFi, I only got 144 Mbps. ( AC 1900 Archer C9 )

It is worst then I connect to TL-WR2543ND (450Mbps Dual Band Wirelss router. I get the WiFi speed of 300 Mbps.

The Archer C 9 suppose to get better result.
