Marketing and research company Net Applications has released its latest report concerning browser market. It shows that Microsoft's Internet Explorer domination for decades, may soon come to an end. Last month, the company's Internet Explorer (IE) and Edge experienced their most significant decline in a combined user share drop of 2.1 percent, its biggest one-month decline in 11 years. Meanwhile, Chrome bridges the gap to the leader quickly. It ended February with market share of 36.6%, up 1.5 percentage points from January and 11.9 points higher than 12 months earlier. Mozilla's Firefox gained three-tenths of a percentage point to climb back to 11.7%, about the same as a year ago, and Apple's Safari grew by two-tenths of a point to 4.9%. If things remain steady, Chrome could finally overtake Internet Explorer for the first time as early as May of this year. Read more -here-
