Google unveiled its Nexus 7 tablet today at the Google I/O Converence. As previously reported, the device is builg by Asus and comes with a 7-inch 1,280x800 HD display. According to Google, it runs the Tegra 3 processor and has a front-facing 1.2MP camera for video chatting, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. With the announcement, Google is making a play for the color e-reader/tablet market to compete with the Amazon Kindle Fire, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, as well as Apple's iPad. The Nexus 7 comes in 8GB and 16GB models for $199 and $249, respectively. The Nexus 7 will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device will start shipping in two to three weeks according to Google, however, interested customers can start pre-ordering it today at the Google Play store. Read more -here-
