At CES 2018 D-Link announced two new lines of wireless mesh systems: the COVR-2202 and the COVR-C1203. Those two systems support a scalable mesh WiFi network. The higher-end tri-band model, COVR-2202, provides wireless transmission speeds up to 2200Mbps. It comes with two routers amplified to cover up to 6,000 sq. ft. of space. The system supports both wired and wireless dedicated backhaul and is compatible with Amazon's Alexa. Setup is easy via D-Link app or a browser. It is expected to be available in Q2 2018 for $320. The dual-band model, COVR-C1203, includes three pods to cover 5,000 sq. ft and provides wi-fi speeds up to 1200Mbps. It supports only Wired dedicated backhaul. COVR-C1203 offers home-friendly design with interchangeable color plates. It will retail for $250, arriving in Q1 2018.
