Cisco announced a slew of new products and services associated with its Borderless Network Architecture, including a new entry-level 802.11n wireless access point for smaller businesses.

Cisco is introducing the Aeronet 1040 series of lower cost access points, which offer the same capabilities of the higher end product with the exception of its CleanAir technology, which is designed to solve wireless interference.

Other vendors have already begun targeting the lower end of the market with 802.11n, but Kozup said Cisco's channel distribution strength should give the company an advantage.
