AT&T officials acknowledged Wednesday that subscribers to the company's U-verse service were experiencing outages. AT&T's U-verse service, which includes its phone, Internet and digital TV services, has been down for three days now in some states in the Southwest and Southeast. Less than 1 percent of U-verse's 7.4 million subscribers were affected by the service disruption.

"AT&T customers in some of our markets are experiencing issues with U-verse service," Emily Lang, a spokeswoman for AT&T Inc., said. "This issue currently affects less than 1 percent of our U-verse subscribers, but that is too many and we are working hard to fix this.

"The issue impacting some U-verse subscribers has been tracked back to a software upgrade," the company wrote on its Facebook page earlier this afternoon. "We continue to work to determine when service will be completely restored. Our continued apologies for the inconvenience."

Despite the issue being resolved for many people, some users are still posting on the AT&T forum that their service is yet to be restored.
