My PC is slow to open programs, Really slow.

Post by jasonb31 »

Hey everyone. The PC has been this way for awhile now because I was to busy to address the problem and well it worked. I have scanned with nearly everything that I know and I have found nothing. Here is my specs and log.

This PC is using 100 percent of the processor just to open IE7 or the newer 8 I installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PC with XP Home SP3, Pentium 4, 2.00 GHz 1.99 GHz with 1GB of ram

Your log is clean. But I would use something better than Comodo Internet Security.

Thanks Mnosteele, I just got rid of Esset NOD32 after it expired because it was not worth nearly what they are asking for it. Comodo found a few that Esset did not. What would you recommend these days?
