Winpoet MTU value stuck at 1454 ?

Tags: ,
If you are using Winpoet and having trouble setting your MTU value to the highest possible PPPoE value of 1492, you might try the following:

Navigate to Start > Run, type regedit
Click Edit > Find, and type TunnelMode (it is case sensitive).
Once it is found, right-click it, select Modify, and change the value from 1 to 0.
Close the Editor, Reboot, and try the SG TCP Analyzer test.

If you experience any issues after changint this setting, revert it back to 1 using the method above and reboot.
