The A6 is small enough to put into your pocket and offers the convenience to create and share wireless connection while you are in hotel room, conference room or even at a hotspot. It provides one 10/100Mbps Ethernet port for Internet/LAN connection.

To meet different Internet connectivity requirements, the A6 provides five working modes. Access Point mode, allows you to create a wireless connection; Router mode, allows users to setup a wireless connection when connected to Internet-enabled service; Client mode lets you connect to an existing wireless network; WISP mode, enables you to wirelessly share an Internet connection where hotspots are available; and Universal Repeater mode, makes you extend the range of a wireless connection.

The A6 also provides power over USB for mobility purposes, enabling users to create a wireless connection even at places where power outlets are not available.

The A6 supports the latest wireless security features to help prevent unauthorized access. WEP, WPA and WPA2 standards ensure that you will be able to use the best possible encryption, regardless of your client wireless devices.

Having just bought one of these devices, I have found that the character set for the PSK is extremely restrictive, even when using it in client mode. It appears that only letters (both upper and lower case), numbers and underscore is available in the PSK. For me, this is a real problem as I use a much less restrictive character set when creating a PSK, including &, @, # and $.
