The SoHo 401W is both a router and a 54Mbps, 802.11g wireless firewall with a single 10/100Base-T WAN port and a four-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch.
The built-in SPI firewall protects the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks and controls and blocks undesirable web sites. It also allows the definition of different access policies, with user division into 5 groups with distinct internet access. This device supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, PPTP and L2TP, and offers WEP, as well as WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption.
