Verizon has updated its lineup of unlimited plans with a new set that will let you, your spouse and your kids potentially each choose your own plan. Each family member may have to do a little bit of work to sort through the details and determine just which plan might make the most sense for them. Whereas before Verizon had three different unlimited plans to choose from, there are now four (along with a "Just Kids" plan you can tack on to any unlimited plan). What you get ultimately varies from plan to plan, and Verzion says that you can mix and match these on a line-by-line basis so that everyone has a plan that fits their usage habits. "Start Unlimited" — is virtually identical to the "Go Unlimited" plan it replaces. The new "Get More Unlimited" plan starts at $90 per month for a single line (with autopay enabled and not including taxes and fees, a caveat that applies to all four plans). It's essentially the company's old $95-per-month "Above Unlimited" plan, just $5 cheaper and with 30GB of LTE hot spot data before you get throttled instead of 20GB. The two in-between plans - "Do More Unlimited" and "Play More Unlimited" - actually cost the same: $80 a month for a single line to $40 per month for five lines. But Do More is productivity-focused, while Play More is more about entertainment. The new plans, which start at $70 monthly for a single line, kick in on Aug. 5 and go by the names "Start Unlimited", "Do More Unlimited", "Play More Unlimited", and "Get More Unlimited". A fifth option, the two-line minimum Just Kids family plan that was introduced last April and pitched as your child's first cellphone plan, will also continue to be available; it starts at $50 per line per month for those two lines.
