EnGenius Technologies, Inc., provider of long-range wireless networking solutions for homes and businesses, today announced it has begun shipping its new Wireless-N Pod Router family. The new EnGenius ESR900, ESR600, ESR350, and ESR300 Wireless-N Pod Routers deliver fast speeds over long range coverage to maximize the enjoyment of Internet-enabled applications such as video streaming and online gaming on computers, smartphones, tablet PCs and home entertainment devices throughout the home.

The new single- and dual-band Wireless-N Pod Routers, which incorporate EnGenius' high-powered Xtra Range™ technology for extended signal coverage, provide a substantial improvement in speed, performance and usability. The new Pod Routers feature a USB port which enables users to share and access video, music and other media content with connected devices in the home or when they're away from home with EnShare™ an Internet-based Personal Media Cloud. Apple iOS and Android-based apps for EnShare will be available soon.

The Pod Routers feature a host of industry-standard security features including WPA and WPA2 encryption, SPI firewall, MAC and URL filtering. Parental controls help to protect children from accessing potentially harmful Internet content, and the ability to support up to four separate and discrete SSIDs enables users to allow guests to access the Internet without compromising the security of network-connected assets. The Pod Routers also support VPN connectivity for telecommuters or remote workers.
