EnGenius Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of long-range wireless networking solutions for homes and businesses, today announced the availability of its new Wireless AC product family including the ESR1200 Dual Band AC1200 Router with Gigabit and USB and ESR1750 Dual Band AC1750 Router with Gigabit and USB. The ESR1200 and ESR1750 Dual Band Routers, which include the free EnGenius EnShare(TM) service enabling users to create a personal cloud for accessing, sharing and uploading data within and outside of the network, are based on draft IEEE 802.11ac specifications and incorporate a four-port Gigabit switch and Gigabit WAN port to ensure fast data speeds within the network and to/from the Internet. Backwards compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n devices, the routers feature Quantum Beam(TM), a beam forming technology which accelerates wireless speeds with 802.11ac-capable computers and other devices, and advanced QoS making them ideal for streaming media to home entertainment devices such as HDTVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and game consoles.
